RESUMO
Partindo da constatação de que o magistério não fica imune ao mal-estar que se experimenta atualmente, o artigo alinha-se à compreensão de que as condições do mal-estar na docência precisam ser problematizadas; afirmando que é possível ao professor lidar com o fenômeno, ao estar consciente da sua responsabilidade em seu processo de auto-subjetivação, desenvolvendo-se em termos de autoimagem e de autoestima, para que melhor movimente-se, renove e amplie o compromisso de cuidar de si em uma perspectiva diferenciada.(AU)
Taking as its point of departure the assertion that the teaching action has not been immune to the discomfort we have experienced nowadays, this article aligns to the understanding that the conditions of the discomfort at teaching should be problematized in affirming that it is possible to the teacher to deal with this phenomenon when he/she is aware of his/her responsibility in the process of self-subjection, and developing him/herself into terms of self-image and self-esteem which enables to the teachers' better movement, renewing and enhancing his/her commitment of taking care of him/herself in a distinct perspective.(AU)
